My name is Brooke, and I have a problem.
I am a gym rat. While I love running outside, living in Wisconsin means that outdoor runs are not always an option. The weather here is out of control. Don’t get me wrong, I truly appreciate the fact that we are lucky enough not to have to deal with hurricanes, avalanches, and most of the time, we don’t have to worry about tornadoes. But I can’t deny that I’m pretty sure that the weather here varies more than it does anywhere on this earth.
One day it’s freezing cold, then it’s 50 degrees and sunny, and the next day you’re opening the door to 3 feet of snow falling into your walkway. And when you have a dog that needs an hour of exercise a day, you spend most of your morning’s just wishing that you will be able to run without freezing to death.
This is where the gym comes in handy. I am a sucker for a good treadmill workout. Which is why, after yesterday’s terrible run, I created this treadmill workout to complete at the gym later today.
I bring you my “Burn Off the Holidays” Treadmill Interval Workout:
It takes just under 30 minutes, so you don’t have to spend your whole day feeling like a hamster on a wheel, but you can still get a good workout in and burn off a few of those extra slices of pie and holiday cookies that you just can’t deny around the holidays. Everything in moderation
It also has running intervals, followed by walking intervals. Feel free to change the speeds/inclines to meet your needs!
Have fun and happy running!

I agree! I start to go crazy on it after a while, so I like to keep my workouts short and sweet if I can
