Well our trip to get Ryan went well… for Andy and I, at least.
Lily had to experience her first big girl trip today! She was getting just a little too big for sitting on my lap, so we laid down a blanket and confined her to the back seat of the Jeep today.
She was not happy about it. She tried to get to the front seat in every way possible. Over my arms, under my arms, around Andy and under the seats.. but it wasn’t gonna happen. Big girls have to learn eventually..
Poor baby.
Thankfully, she eventually gave up and fell asleep and the ride home was much smoother.
Now we’re home, watching football, and I’m drinking my new wine.
Life is good.
