Tonight’s the night!! The third episode of the Bachelorette premiers tonight and somehow I’ve gone a whole week without ranting about episode 2.. how did that happen?? I have no idea but somewhere in between the endless hours of Zumba and training at work I forgot to share every single thought that crossed my mind while watching episode 2 with you guys.. and that is completely unacceptable. So here we go…
1.) This season’s bachelors are actually just a bunch of crybabies.
Yep, I am talking about you, Brandon.
First of all, it’s the second week. Slow your roll, man. You’re not in love. You haven’t even had a one on one date yet.
And second of all…
There are no words.
2.) Group dates meet a whole new level of awkward.
I can’t be the only person who was cringing the entire time this was happening.
As soon as Des announced that the group date would be focused on making a music video with Soulja Boy I was like:
There is a time and place for Soulja Boy and the Bachelorette just isn’t that time or place.
How did they even land on Soulja Boy anyway? I’m pretty sure Chris Harrison was like, “Who is a rapper that hasn’t been doing much with his life lately that could stand to make a little money from creating the worst rap song in the history of the world and introducing it to the whitest group of guys in the history of men and getting to watch them awkwardly flail around and sputter out words for a music video?…. SOULJA BOY!!!!!”
While Soulja Boy actually seemed like he was enjoying watching the bachelors squirm, that was not the case for me.
Also, Des is just not someone that should be rapping.
I give the girl props for going along with it, but next time ABC… just… no.
3.) I love Brooks. And it’s not just because we pretty much have the same name.
It’s a little bit because he seems like a genuine sweet guy, and a lotta’ bit because I found out that he has a Vizsla.
Also because he put up with this crazy date.
Seriously, ABC, what is with these wedding themed dates? And Des saying “I really feel like we’re newlyweds.” Aren’t we supposed to be getting to know each other a little before we start planning our wedding? I guess this just seemed like a date that should be on the Bachelor more than the Bachelorette. I can’t imagine a guy getting super pumped about trying on tuxes and picking out wedding cake.. but that’s just me.
I will give ABC props for being able to close off an entire bridge for their dinner date though.. that was pretty neat.
4.) I don’t trust a man that doesn’t know his cheese.
Bryden seems so sweet and adorable, but I just can’t back a man that has never heard of Brie cheese.
I am a Wisconsin girl at heart, after all.
Can’t even wait for tonight!!
Tell Me: Who are you rooting for so far??
